This is the nokia slider phone i've been waiting for. Specs indeed are quite heavy weight & within my expectation. Series 40 although is simple & easy-to-use, i think it is much faster compared to series 60. Hopefully it will be release before March ...

i dont think that S40 phones are slower than S60 because they have to boot less of the programs inside the phone for start up and all....although if you talk in terms of multi tasking then only S60 are better. Otherwise for simple calling, music, and...

The map data is installed on the phone. The GPS receiver in the phone communicates directly with the GPS satellite and tells the phone what your position on the map is - no internet conection req'd.
