Nokia 8800 Gold Arte ups the ante with even more luxury - read the full textThe latest piece of art in the Arte lineup appeared at Nokia website without a proper introduction from the manufacturer. The new Nokia 8800 Gold Arte follows on the Nokia 8800 Carbon Arte but adds quite some luxury and tackiness to the package...

This is a great phone if all you're looking in a cellular is to make phone calls. Only downside, batterie life sucks, last only half a day for me and i dont talk that much.

Hate NOKIA as much as you want...I have ordered the limited diamond version of this master piece for my wife(US$14,000)... She's going to love the babe.Nokia is the number one cell phone manufacturer in the world simple bacause they caters for everyone...cant beat that!

Some people purchase phones for there features, other for how it looks. Nokia are just trying to hit a certain target market. Battery n etc is shit but it does look pretty (: if i had the money then i would defo buy it as a second phone - blackberry and iphone all the way though (:

> In reply to Max @ 2008-12-30 07:07 from Y2{b If you need something like this to make you happier than you are a pathetic person with an empty and pointless life.
Friends and family are the one and only true source of happiness. All this materiel show off is for people with minority complexes or with a small d**k.

This phone is oviously not foe who ARE affected by this unstable market. So dnt hate on Nokia for designing a phone. Just because u can't afford you should discriminate against it .

> In reply to mobile seller from o @ 2008-12-29 15:41 from iIR0I'm happy for you.
Seems that you can afford any of those great smart phones with camera, wifi, gps and so much more.
But you should'nt worry for us who can afford the latest Canon (the way I like them), an HTC shift or a tablet pc if we want wifi, and the most elaborated GPS in the car.
Bear in mind that if we wanted any of the latest of anything, sure we would buy it,Just before you can imagine its existance.

How can you say its the most pointless phone ever? Why do you say this?? It looks great and does what a mobile phone is intended to do - make calls and text. It just has the added benefits of been beautiful.

I think the people who slag this phone off are just jelous as they cannott afford it where as people like me can hehe.

this is the most pointless phone in existance. all the 8600 and 8800 range are. they are basically a nokia 3310 with a colour screen. if you buy this you are more retarded than you look. grow up, get a life and spend your money on something useful !!!!!!!

It will be really cool if the phone is fully gold like the 8800 sirocco gold.. Prestige is important.. Most people they dont favour leather..

> In reply to JAMES @ 2008-12-24 15:49 from 0UTJjames,maybe you are living in a forest with a wolf lady, even the charger of this nokia is more tasteful and cool than any motorola you want. nokia doesn't need to copy even a button from motorola. nokia has even since 1999-2000 gold editions of 8850,8800. gold motorola looks like a cheap kitsch made for a "hommie" from bronx,no style,no pedigree for making gold and stilish phones. motorola are cheap bricks for fat policemans
